Healthy Hormones and the Nervous System Workshop

You’re carrying so much, working so hard… you end up putting yourself on the back burner. You probably don't want to. You probably know a thing or two about good habits.

Maybe you’ve tried them for a while but you can’t stick with them.

Maybe you skip meals, eat late or eat emotionally.

Maybe you carve out a few hours for yourself at night and stay up too late on screens.

Maybe your body’s hurting, your mind is stressed, your relationships are suffering.

There’s no rest or space and not enough pleasure.

The most important question I ask at this point is:

What drives you to override the signals your body sends you?

Like so many people, you may be possessed with the idea of “success” - in whatever form that takes for you. You may end up pushing past your body’s need for rest and nourishment. And in order to truly understand what’s keeping you in a state of dis-ease, you have to understand the deeper roots of what’s driving you.

I see this pattern everywhere in my work - women pushing hard to either get somewhere “better” in life, or women running on empty because they’re afraid of what will happen if they stop.

This pattern is epidemic among women and not without consequence. The stats around women’s health prove the impact.

→ 80% of people with autoimmune disorders are women. (NIH)

→ 45% of women over age 20 have high blood pressure. (CDC)

→ 1 in 5 women between the ages of 40-60 are on antidepressants in the US. (CDC)

→ Women are twice as likely as men to be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. (NIH)

We have a choice for how we look at these stats. We can either believe women’s bodies are inherently broken OR we can start looking at the root cause of why so many women are sick.

From the perspective of Ayurveda, most of these health challenges are directly related to the nervous system and hormones.

The beauty of healing the root cause is that it gives you back your power.

The power to know your body and mind better than anyone.

The power to understand the language your body speaks through symptoms.

The power to heal imbalances through your daily habits and diet.

The power to heal undigested traumas and emotional patterns.

The power to understand how the externals of your life impact the internal.

The power to recognize where you do have choice.

My "Healthy Hormones + The Nervous System" workshop is for you if you:
